Developing an alternative energy solution using traditional resources and renewable energy for South-East Romania.

The project developed new alternative solution for obtaining electricity, heat and cold using traditional resources (wood), renewable energy (biomass) and solar energy for specific South-East region of Romania.

The system is a mCCHP-SE (micro Combined Cooling Heat and Power – with Stirling Engine) and is composed of a heat generator – heat solar collector – Stirling motor – electric generator – storage battery – static inverter. An electronic subsystem that has a logical program for monitoring, protection, command is used for optimal administrations for renewable energy and solar energy for consumers in isolated area (and/or no electrified).

The project’s main objective was to achieve a mCCHP-SE system for consumers in isolated area (and/or no electrified), country areas and city periphery as a durable alternative for their daily residential comfort.
