Developing an energy-saving production of concrete
The company Betonmax will implement an innovative energy-saving production line for the manufacturing of concrete. The innovation will be based on the use of a new mixing method.
THE PROJECT
As part of the project, the company Betonmax plans to implement an innovative energy-saving production line for the manufacturing of concrete. The innovation will be based on the use of a new mixing method in which raw materials (aggregate, cement, plasticizers, water) will be dosed in specific proportions (batches) to the jet mixer and will be mixed in it (jet mixing).
The innovative concrete production line will consist of:
- Storage tanks (cement silos) with a dosing system
- Aggregate baskets with aggregate dosing system
- Water dispensing system
- Plasticizer dosing system
The further goal of the programme is to strengthen cooperation between Polish and Norwegian businesses. On the project level a bilateral component should contribute to strengthen the green innovation profile of the project.
International Development Norway will assist Betonmax in the optimization of the new technology solution developed to strengthen its maximum capacity.
