THE PROJECT

As part of the project, the company Betonmax plans to implement an innovative energy-saving production line for the manufacturing of concrete. The innovation will be based on the use of a new mixing method in which raw materials (aggregate, cement, plasticizers, water) will be dosed in specific proportions (batches) to the jet mixer and will be mixed in it (jet mixing).

The innovative concrete production line will consist of:

• Storage tanks (cement silos) with a dosing system
• Aggregate baskets with aggregate dosing system
• Water dispensing system
• Plasticizer dosing system

The further goal of the programme is to strengthen cooperation between Polish and Norwegian businesses. On the project level a bilateral component should contribute to strengthen the green innovation profile of the project.

International Development Norway will assist Betonmax in the optimization of the new technology solution developed to strengthen its maximum capacity.

The project was implemented within the framework of the “Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation” program and the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021.

The Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area (MF EEA) and the Norwegian Financial Mechanism (NMF), commonly referred to as the Norwegian and EEA Funds, are two financial instruments established by the Donor States (i.e., Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein) in exchange for access to the EU common market. The main objective of the Funds is to contribute to reducing economic and social disparities within the EEA and strengthen bilateral relations between the countries involved in achieving the goals of these mechanisms.

Mechanizm Finansowy Europejskiego Obszaru Gospodarczego (MF EOG) i Norweski Mechanizm Finansowy (NMF), zwane potocznie Funduszami norweskimi i EOG to dwać instrumenty finansowe ustanowione przez Państwa Darczyńców (tj. Norwegię, Islandię i Liechtenstein) w zamian za dostęp do wspólnego rynku UE. Głównym celem Funduszy jest przyczynianie się do zmniejszania różnic ekonomicznych i społecznych w obrębie EOG oraz wzmacnianie stosunków dwustronnych pomiędzy państwami zaangażowanymi w realizację celów tych mechanizmów.
