A complete concept study to materialize a commercial innovation hub.
Many initiatives were previously pursued for establishing an incubator in Kosovo, but no complete concept was presented by serious and experienced institution. The project focuses on how to build on and cooperate with existing Norwegian project/efforts in Kosovo – like the ICT association STIKK and vocational education/school project.
The main objective is to identify the external conditions, select suitable stakeholders and a concept for establishing a commercial Innovation HUB i Kosovo and based on this make proposal for a three-year implementation project.
The main outcome from the project was the creation of Innovation Center Kosovo (ICK). With knowledge, skills, and commitment, ICK is on a mission to develop a culture of innovation in Kosovo.
Based on previous experiences from working on the Western Balkans, IDN was engaged by lead partner Leiv Eirikson Nyskaping to assist in the fact finding and assessment.
