The ESCO project is building transnational network, using synergies between Norway and Croatia to accelerate the green transition in the blue economy . We’re connecting innovators, businesses, and support organizations across borders to foster collaboration, drive technology transfer, and co-create groundbreaking solutions for a more sustainable future.
Here’s how ESCO is making a difference:
Strengthening connections: We brigdge the gap between innovative green tech developers and businesses seeking sustainable solutions. By fostering partnerships and facilitating technology transfer, we’re ensuring that cutting-edge innovations reach the market and contribute to a blue and green economy.
Promoting creativity: We believe that creativity is key to unlocking the full potential of the green transition. ESCO fosters a collaborative environment where out-of-the-box thinking is encouraged, leading to the development of novel solutions and expanded technology applications across various industries. Using design sprint methods
Building capacity: We’re empowering business support organizations in Norway and Croatia with the knowledge, tools, and best practices needed to effectively support green innovation.
Developing new business models: Through transnational workshops and collaborative projects, we want to support co-creation of sustainable and scalable business models. This involves bringing together diverse perspectives and expertise to generate innovative solutions that address both environmental and economic challenges.
Launching an accelerator program: We’re establishing a joint accelerator program operated by IRIC and NORBAN, connecting the innovation ecosystems of Norway and Croatia. This program will provide targeted support to green tech startups, helping them refine their business models, access funding, and scale their impact in the blue economy.
The ESCO project is funded by EEA Grant Business Innovation Program in Croatia, managed by local Innovation Norway office. Thank you for helping us to make imapct!. This funding enables us to connect, collaborate, and innovate across borders, driving the green transition in the blue economy.
