Waste processing company from Slovakia visits IDN
The visit was organized as a part of Measure B in PA 21 – Green innovation in industry.
On June 25 – June 28 2017 the Slovak company Fecupral visited IDN and Norway on a study trip. The visit was organized as a part of Measure B in PA 21 – Green innovation in industry.
The main objective of the study visit was to find new partnerships for cooperation in the field of ecological waste management. During the stay in Trondheim Fecupral had meetings with IDN waste management expert Bjørn Kopstad and two departments at SINTEF.
Changes in waste management inspired by circular economy pushes waste processing companies to the limits that recycled materials can offer. The trend where transnational companies higly values material savings is very possitive. One good example is IKEA, a pioneer in usage of recycled materials. In order to reflect on such progress in waste treatment Fecupral`s aim is to analyze all the processes in the company to remove any deficiencies and to become 100% material efficient.
