At Nov 15th we visited Øvre Romerike Avfallsselskap (ØRAS) at Råholt together with a delegation from Poland. The general manager gave us an overview of the companies activities in waste management. The sorting facility (miljøstasjon) for private households was demonstrated. Then the wood chipping activity and finally the automatic sorting plant separating organic waste (green bags) from municipality waste collected by trucks. The company seems to be well organised/operated and is a potential knowledge partner for IDN.
