Visiting Duun Industrier AS
The visit was part of a week-long study tour to Norway through the EEA & Norway grants supported project POLNORECO.
On the 18th of November, IDN together with the Polish Chamber of Commerce and 16 Polish companies made a company visit to Duun Industrier AS in Åsen, Norway. The visit was part of a week-long study tour to Norway through the EEA & Norway grants supported project POLNORECO. Duun Industrier AS is a mechanical company established in 1956, located in the middle of Norway, that develop, design and produces all of their products at their facility in Åsen. They only sell their products through a few selected distributors, also abroad in countries like Sweden, Denmark, and Germany. The company is constantly looking for ways to improve their production and invest in leading technology to do so. The company mainly produces machinery for the agricultural and forestry sector.
During the visit, the CEO Karl Martin Eggen and Factory Manager Roar Størseth presented the company, their vision, work within energy and production efficiency. Further on the group were taken on a tour throughout the impressive production facility. Several of the mechanical companies from Poland received valuable information and detailed discussion took place between the companies.
