Digitalizing Home Care Service Management
The project “OPATRIO” is aimed at increasing the quality of life of seniors and people with different disabilities, who receive home care service in Slovakia.
OPATRIO: Web-based application for home care service management
PROROZVOJ, s.r.o. (ltd.) is a startup established in 2016 by three young professionals. The company has extensive experience with the home care service provision, its problems but also possibilities for development. The company have came up with the idea for the development of project “OPATRIO”, which is aimed at increasing the quality of life of seniors and people with different disabilities, who receive home care service in Slovakia. It will be done through the development and implementation of a unique home care management system, as previously mentioned.
This project will be beneficial for three target groups: the clients themselves (seniors, disabled citizens and/or their family members), the municipality officials responsible for home care services provision and the employed caregivers.
Measures
- Development of web-based application
- Testing application in real conditions (in cooperation with municipality as public home care service provider)
- Dissemination of pilot test results among other public and non-public service providers
IDN Involvement
IDN experts will provide best practices on home care service provision and its management in Norway. This information and IDN’s insights will be utilized during development of the OPATRIO web-based application.
