On the 1st of December, IDN together with our project partner Centrum pre inovačné partnerstvá (Center For Innovation Partnerships) hosted a workshop in Prèsov, Slovakia. The workshop was part of the project: Unleashing Cross-border Circular Economy Potential – Slovakia and Ukraine. The main ambition of this bilateral project is to boost contacts and cooperation between local and regional companies, institutions and NGOs on both sides of the EU external border.

Several stakeholders both from private and public sector were present at the workshop were the findings from the analysis of the cross-border region were presented. The analysis shows that there is a big potential for better cooperation between companies when it comes to waste optimisation and usage. For the next EEA & Norway Grants programme period the present stakeholders intend to apply for the funding of a big Circular Economy project in the region.
