Main ideas of the project

Highlighted in the new green deal launched by the EC in 2019, energy efficiency within industry is an important focus area for Europe. Energy efficiency will result in improved capacity for the business at hand, such as DKV-D. Measurable improvements can be seen in technology and production processes, where energy efficiency adds value to a company through the creation of jobs, energy savings and financial resources. The positive benefits are further reinvested to support development that ensures a competetive company. For this to become a reality, certain steps has to be followed. Through the goal of “improving energy efficiency in buildings, industry and municipalities” requirements  such as: project management, awareness measures, experience and knowledge becomes essential. With this in mind, and partnering with IDN and their expertice & capacity, the project is predicted to achieve: reduced CO2 emmisions of 196.83 t yearly , 95.81 MWh energy saved and a steady increase in monetary savings of 25 585.81 euro a year.

Measures

  • Establish partnerships that pursues experience and good practices.
  • Acquire knowdlege on green transition at the managerial/expert level.
  • Initiating better system for management for this and future projects.

The role of IDN

  • Provide services within the field of energy efficiency, circular economy and green transitioning through trainings and studies designed to improve capacity within these sections. Members from IDN will also attend a bulgarian conference to further elaborate on energy management.
  • Hosting a visit to Norway to present ideas and methods for good practice particularly focused on energy efficiency and use of renewable energy sources.
