Our journey so far

IDN Africa was born as the result of the long-term commitment of International Development Norway to global sustainability. As a subsidiary of a Norwegian company, we want to leverage the expertise and experiences gathered for more than 20 years of work in European countries and dedicate part of our efforts to empowering communities in Tanzania and beyond.

Jonathan Kifunda

Director East Africa

Jonathan Kifunda, a Tanzanian development professional with degrees in Business Administration, Project Management, and Education, is dedicated to finding local solutions for African challenges. He has a proven track record of successfully managing diverse projects, excelling in organizational development, leadership, fundraising, and resource management within multicultural teams. His focus includes financial education and economic empowerment.

Immaculate Deus Komba

Country Manager Tanzania

Immaculate Deus Komba is a Tanzania-based sustainability professional with over five years of project management experience. Holds a Master of Science in Globalization and Sustainable Development from NTNU (Norway), she possesses strong expertise in climate change, sustainability and community development. She has a proven history of developing and implementing impactful projects in African communities, engaging stakeholders, and managing large donor-funded programs (USAID, EU). Her skills combine analytical problem-solving with a commitment to sustainable change across her extensive African network.

Tajiel Urioh

Senior Advisor - Carbon Credit Projects

Tajiel Urioh is a professional with over a decade of practical, multicultural working experience on climate and carbon policy, energy transition, project management, and complex consultancy. He has worked with the Government, Private Sector and NGOs.
